All Superheros Don't Wear Capes

Growing up,  all the superheroes I ever seen wore capes.  It wasn't until March of 2013, that I realized superheroes also wear braces, crutches, and warming pads to name a few.  And unlike the bat mobile, our super rides  may consist of wheelchairs and electric scooters.  Our special hand held devices are sometimes, canes, crutches, walkers, and the reacher. Yes, I became a superhero in 2013, my name is Nvonne, some people call me Mary.  I was diagnosed with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) 10 years ago, at age 42.  Why do I call us superheroes? Because we are battling one of the toughest, body aching, mind irritating,  literal nerve short circuiting and crippling disease in the world. It takes a superhero mentality to get up, sit up, put up, and stand up to this disease on a daily basis.  Strength from within is what I am talking about.  Its not easy, but it is necessary. Yet we still we get up one day at a time to go into full battle to make it through the day, knowing we have to do it all over again the next day.  We got jolted, we stumble, we sometimes fall, but we get back up again, and again and we keep fighting.
